Southerly Buster part 2

22 Jan

 Southerly Buster

I forgot I took these photos. The weather’s pretty volatile at the moment. The sun burns like a big angry bastard all day, stripping layers of flesh from your back then that beautiful goddess from the south dowses it all in cool Antarctic breeze. Sometimes she chases off the heat and sun with a roaring malice, blasting it up the coast and out to sea. She never sticks around for long and though these pictures look nasty, we stood on the front porch beckoning her with arms outstretched. It was all over in about 5 minutes then the sun resumed, chastened and much tamer.

wow those clouds are wild. We get those in the summer here too. I’ll go sit out in the lawn and just watch them roll overhead. Nice!
